Wear the Rainbow

For the last 50 years or so, colored fur has maintained it's hold on high fashion. Sometimes it's subtle, turning brown to black or slightly unnatural colors such as burgundy or navy. Sometimes it's a little flashier.

In the past few years, rainbow + colored furs have been cropping up almost every season. Since our job here at Bustown Modern is to bring you the best in fashion forward, wearable vintage, we wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't bring you these ridiculously amazing colored furs.

Seriously amazing 1980s rainbow fox fur coat. INCREDIBLE, incredible, one-of-a-kind find. Ultra thick and plush dyed fox fur in a myriad of pastels. Oversize collar. Ultra wide, thick pelts are vertically laid and come several inches above the knee in front and nearly sweep the floor in back. Beautiful construction, tiny intricate dyed pastel pelts are alternated with white pelts to give it a "feathered" look.

Seriously awesome bright bright bright orange Tibetan lamb fur coat by Sonia Rykiel. Such a rad piece! Ultra short waist-length crop with long sleeves and ultra ultra shaggy long hair. Fully lined with hidden fur hook closures and pockets. Pristine condition.

If you're looking for a slightly more minimal look, we have this insanely awesome vintage 1960s velvety soft midnight blue broadtail fur coat. Classic 60s double-breasted construction with a definite military flare. Super fitted bodice with double-vented flared skirt, very skinny/fitted sleeves and besom pockets. Oversized gold military buttons top this beauty off! Truly beautiful midnight blue silk lining. Excellent vintage condition.
